Horsemanship Program
The Chesnuts will learn horsemanship skills (grooming, leading, basic vet care), how to be safe around horses, horse etiquette and will also learn the daily care of horses. The focus will be on fun and all things horsey but your child will also organically develop skills in leadership, teamwork, patience respect, responsibility, and accountability.
What you need
Participants should wear sturdy closed-toe footwear, boots are recommended (no Crocs or Uggs), and dress for the weather. Bring a bottle of water. The Chesnuts Club operates in all kinds of weather. Jelich Farm has a No Phone in the barn policy.

Winter Beginner Programs
This is a group lesson program aimed at Beginner and Advanced Beginner riders! Students will learn, or improve upon, their riding skills and basic horsemanship in a fun and encouraging environment!
Duration: 5 weeks: January 5th, 12th, 19th and February 2nd, 9th. (no lesson 1/26)
Timing:
Group 1: 1pm - 2pm
Group 2: 2pm - 3pm
Cost: $600
Ages: 6 and 14 are welcome to sign up!
Required Equipment: Students will require proper riding attire (including helmet, riding pants, paddock boots).
No Make-ups allowed!
